  • Additional Info: whitewolfsonicprincess Our music has been described by our fans as 21st Century Druid Music, Celtic Blues, NeoPsychedelic Folk-Rock, & Pagan Grooves. Whatever you want to call it, for the last decade this collaborative ensemble has been gaining fans by making story-songs, prayers to the natural world, songs that reflect the interconnectedness of all things, and the dance of light and shadow in the Universe. The lyrics are driven by massive grooves fused with electric English folk, a wave of acoustic and electric guitar, two basses, drums, and percussion. The band emerged from the margins of the Chicago theater scene via our art-project, Black Forest Theater Company. Our 4th full-band album Love Without Fear was recorded by Taylor Hales in the exquisitely captivating sonic space of Studio A at Electrical Audio (The House that Steve Albini Built) in Chicago, IL.Carla Hayden vocals & percussionJames Moeller acoustic guitar & vocalsRandy Farr percussion, harmonicaChuck Wasserburg electric guitarNura Aly violinMichael Hovnanian double bassTim OBrien electric bassSteve Rutstein drumsDouglas Johnson double bass Honey WhitesHoney Whites are a Chicago-based trio celebrating the music of Morphine, one of the most unique and beloved American rock bands of the 1990s. Featuring Mark Sandmans rich, low vocals and ground-breaking two-string slide-bass style, accompanied only by baritone saxophone and drums, Morphine stands to this day as a rock-and-roll trail-blazer in a world where guitar-driven bands have historically dominated. Sandmans untimely death on-stage from a heart-attack in 1999 further cemented Morphines enduring legend and mystique among their global fan-base. Honey Whites are now in their third-season of live performances in the Chicago area, garnering rave reviews for their engaging renditions of an ever-widening selection of hits and deep-cuts from Morphines stellar catalog. Honey Whites are: -Scott Judd (Two-String Slide-Bass & Vocals) -Clay Kohl (Drums)-Dan Borden (Baritone & Tenor Sax)
