For Sweany, its a theme thats permeated his latest songs (runningout of time, getting older).The time in between 2018sAncient NoiseandBaby, Its Latehas been full ofchanges for Sweany. Difficult changes. These mile-markers and their aftermath made itchallenging for Sweany to do what hes done for over 20 years: write songs, recordsongs, get in a van and play those songs for you.It wasnt as though Sweanys music-making simply stopped, however. As the worldopened back up after the pandemic, Sweany resumed his Blue Monday residency atThe 5 Spot in E.
